Show up for the teachers who show up for our kids

AWARE runs entirely on people who love Arlington’s teachers. Whether you’re recognizing great teaching firsthand in a classroom or bringing the celebration to life, volunteering is one of the most direct ways to give back to the educators who give our children so much.

AWARE volunteers must hold current Arlington ISD volunteer approval. Since it resets each school year, please reapply annually to stay eligible to serve. Apply Here

  • Selection Committee Volunteer

As a Selection Committee volunteer, you’re the one who gets to see great teaching up close — visiting nominees in their classrooms, talking with them one-on-one, and helping choose the educators whose dedication will be honored and rewarded. It’s a hands-on way to make sure Arlington’s best teachers are truly seen.
